Panjabi or Punjabi? How do spell?

Is it Panjabi or Punjabi?

Most people spell it as Punjabi but we have noticed some people writing it as Panjabi. Punabi Paper obviously likes to spell it as Punjabi. Panjabi sounds like Paanjaabi, doesn't it?

Punjabi is correct because if we write Panjabi if would be pronounced as Pan[a pot]+jaibi.
